Thrilled to have been selected for Photovogue Global Open Call ‘Tree of Life: A Love Letter to Nature’ with my new work ‘The Mark of a Terrible Sun’ realized in Melanesia. The work is a long term exploration of the Pacific Ring of Fire, the most seismically and volcanically active zone in the world. I will be sharing more about my process and fieldwork from the past year as I continue to progress and will be back to the Pacific next month for an extensive period of time with the Melanesian communities residing alongside the southwest trench of the ring in two volcanic zones of Papua New Guinea.
